Families in crisis
Practical help when a child is seriously ill: travel to treatment, meals, bills that can't wait.
Carrying Alex's kindness forward
We support children facing life-threatening illness and the families beside them, and we fund cancer treatment, research, and the next generation of caregivers.
“Alex wants to do good in the world. Period.”
Meet Alex
Alex is kind. Not now and then, not when it's convenient. It's simply who he is, as a child and as a young man.
He goes to school to learn how to help people, and then he does exactly that, working in radiology at St. Peter's Hospital.
Away from work, he's all in on sports: the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees, and any chance to get out on a golf course. He's an avid musician and a soft touch for every animal he meets. Most of all, he adores time with his family and friends.
Alexander's Acts of Kindness carries that spirit forward. We stand with children and families facing serious illness, support treatment and research, and help a young person from Averill Park start down the same road Alex chose: a life spent helping others.
Every gift goes to four commitments.
